Intro The Cast: "Chase! Get down here!" called his mother, and the boy awoke with a start. He had been having a dream, a strange dream. It was about these, creatures of sorts... He shook his head, and threw the covers back. He sauntered down the stairs, and sat at the breakfast table, where eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit and syrup was laid out like a feast before him. "Hey Mom. Good morning." he mumbled sleepily. Chase's Mom kissed his forehead, and handed him a fork. He began to eat, messy and quickly as most boys do. Once full, he checked the time, and ran upstairs. Showering quickly, he then ran into his room to get dressed. His best friend, Jared, would be there any minute to pick him up. He grabbed a wife beater, his jersey, and a good pair of jeans. He snuck a look at himself in the mirror. Blonde short hair, nice skin, baby blue eyes. He heard the horn when he was lacing his shoes. Running down the stairs, waved good bye to his mother. "See you tonight Mum!" he said, and ran out the door. "J, my man!" he said, and the big boy waved from the front seat of his convertable Spyder. He, too, was wearing his jersey. That could only mean one thing. Tonight was football night. "Hey, Chase." Jared said, pulling down his sunglasses, pulling the car out of park and into drive. He had short brown hair that curled in the front and nice green eyes. Jared was a nice guy, popular because he was kind to everyone. "You ready for tonight?" "Yeah, man. Totally ready!" to be continuedddd

Michael rolled over in bed, and glanced as his clock. He had barely gotten any sleep, but he never did on Fridays. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, as his six year old sister banged on his door.
"I'm up, I'm up, Stephanie!" He called, and the door opened. A small, brunette head peered through, who looked almost exactly like her big brother.
"Daddy says you're going to be late!" She squeaked.
"Okay. Get out so I can get ready." The door closed and he quickly pulled his jersey over his head, and his favorite pair of jeans, and tied his blue shoes. The tall, green eyed teen stretched his torso in front of the mirror.
With his duffel bag of gear for the game tonight hoisted on his shoulder, he quickly ran downstairs, grabbed the bag that his father had laid out for him, and ran out the door.
"See you tonight Mikey!" Stephanie called as the door closed.
Ahead him on the sidewalk was his neighbor. He followed her, a little ways back, into the school.

-continued- As Michael walks into school, he opens his lunch bag and realizes that dad had laid out the wrong lunch; his sister's cherry poptart, a box of fruit juice, and a nice red apple. That would fill up a six year old, of course, but not an eighteen year old! Michael quickly checked his pants pockets, pulling out some change. Counting it quickly, he found he would have enough for another slice of pizza. Alright, close enough.
Unfortunately, Stephanie's medication was also on the bottom of the bag. Michael knew she had to have it, so he hurried down the hall and walked outside to make a call to his dad. On the way, head down as he was dialing, he crashed into a girl leaving the theatre room. She's a small framed girl, with thick blonde hair to her shoulders and blue eyes that could stun you. Michael, who had grown up with her in school, extended his arm to help her up. "I'm sorry Clare." He said. When she was upright again, she shyly told him it was okay, and he hurried off. Clare, forever the theatre nerd, picked up her script for the school play. She had been rehearsing it, distracted, when she walked into Michael. She curled her fingers in her hair as she walked down the hall to go to home room. The five foot-five, eighteen year old girl sat in a seat next to her fellow theatre buffs.

Just as Chase and Jared were walking into the school, they caught sight of Michael hurrying through the hallway. Jared smiled and Chase winked. "Hey, buddy! Where ya going?" Chase said, and Jared tackled him into the lockers. "Yeah, Mikey! Where ya running off to? You should save the running for the field!" Jared chimed in.
"Hey boys." came a seductive voice, Virginia Fields, capatin of the cheerleading team. She walked by, hips swaying in the small skirt she wore. Chase practically forgot what he was doing, and patted Jared on the shoulder, running after her.
"You know, some jokes just arn't funny when the punchline runs off to get a peice of ass." Jared said, and he left go of Mike. "I guess I'll see you later Mikey-boy." Jared said, and walked off down the hallway.

Mike rolled his eyes at them, yawning as he got an answer at his house. "'ello?" came a scruffy female voice. She had obviously just been awoken. Mike grumbled, it was his least favorite step-monstermother Belinda. He was in some deep trouble with her.
"Hey, Belinda...dad switched Steph's and my lunch bags...and I have her medicine."
"And?"
Mike paused, "..She needs it, Belinda. You know this."
"Hey, you have to be nice to me! I'll tell your father!" She squawked.
"Just come get her lunch bag and give me mine. Where's dad?"
"Fine." she whined, "I'll be over in a minute."

Chase put his hand on the locker, smiling at the girl. "Hey Gina, how are ya?" he said, and the girl swooned at him. "Oh, the usual. Ready for tonight's game?" she asked, and twirled her hair in her hands. He nodded, and licked his lips.
"Yeah, you gonna cheer just for me?" he asked, and Virginia smiled. "Always."
Jared grabbed his books and walked into his first class. Biology. He sat down in his usual seat in the back of the room, and watched as the teacher passed out the last test. His test was placed on his desk, and he groaned. Another C. He was barely passing with that, and he needed the grades to play on the team.

Michael sat in class, after dropping the lunch in the office for someone to take to his sister. History is usually an interesting subject, but not today. He tried to keep himself awake by drumming his fingers on his legs to his favorite song.
Clare sat in Biology, on the other side of the room. Her test turned out to a B+, not her best, but she'd take it. Good, she can still participate in the play.

Jared watched as everyone else compared tests. He looked at Clare, he knew her only a little bit. He knew Micheal knew her, and he had to admit, her and Mike would make the cutest couple. He was acctually a bit jealous of their friendship, only because he had noone like that. No girls ever wanted to be his friend. If he even got to know them, it would be for a hook up and nothing else.
Chase strolled in late to Bio, a wide smirk on his face. "Well, thank you for joining us, Mr. Cafferty! Please, take a seat!" the teacher said, and handed him his test. He smiled. A C! Perfect! He shot a look to Jared, and gave him a thumbs up. The big boy looked bored.

Clare rolled her eyes at Chase, she hated the 'attention-loving coolboy' act. The teacher got back to teaching something, Clare had missed the topic but she figured she'd catch up. With a yawn, she began writing.
Mike scribbled on his notebook, willing the clock to move forward.

"Now, I feel you all didn't get the concept of DNA! Now you see, your DNA is-" The door to the classroom swung open, and the everyone in the room jumped. The principal and two young girls walked in. He was holding a paper, obviously they were transfer students. Chase and Jared looked at each other. Woah.
The one was a fiery red head, with tan skin, so tan it was almost golden. Her eyes seemed to be a fiery hazel color. She wore a right blue tee with short orage booty shorts. Orange shoes adorned her feet. Around her neck was an orange pendant with what looked like a flame engraved. She smiled at the class and Jared saw Matt shudder. He knew exactly what Matt would do to a girl like that, and it wasn't carry her books to class.
The other girl caught Jared's attention. She was a larger girl, but still completely beautiful. She had medium cut hair, so brown it looked the color of dark dirt. She had light skin, and beautiful brown eyes. She wore a brown sweater, it was short sleeved, but reached up to her neck. Her skirt was a dark green, and brown leggings went down her thick legs, leading to sexy, or so Jared thought, brown heels.

The teacher told the new girls where to sit, and told Clare to grab two extra books for them. Clare was curious, of course, but decided to mind her own business. She was never very good at talking to people....starting up a conversation with new people was sure to be awkward. Michael was barely paying attention when the door opened to reveal the guidance councilor and two new students. One of the girls had long, light blonde hair that swept past her shoulders, the ends were dyed blue. Her light blue dress hugged her in all the right areas, and finally fell slightly above her knee, revealing light skinned legs. She wore a blue bracelet on her right wrist, with a symbol that resembled a water symbol. She also carried a purse with the symbol on it too. Michael thought it might be a Zodiac sign.
The young, tall boy next to him wore a white buttoned down shirt, open, with a plain, light blue t-shirt underneath. His light skin slightly blended in with his white long pants. A small belt buckle showed a symbol in the center.
Michael was impressed. Both of them sat along side his seat and the class continued.

Chase turned to look at Jared once again as the girls were escorted to their new seats and slightly briefed on what was going on in the class. He pointed to the girl in the brown, and winked, pointing back at Jared. The big boy blushed, and rolled his eyes.
"Shut up." he mouthed. Chase chuckled.
"I bet you ten bucks she's a virgin." Chase mouthed back.

The girl dressed in brown heard the boys snikering, and whipped her head around and gave them a glare that silently warned them that she was not one that they would want to mess with, as she sat down in her new seat. Their teacher never noticed and continued on with her lesson, the students only half paying attention.

The girl in blue turned in her seat, and winked at Chase. "Hey, jock. You got a problem with my sister here?" she motioned to the girl in brown. "Because if you do, well, let's just say you ain't gonna like that."
"Aiden! Please!" her voice was soft, yet fierce at the same time, while her sisters was firey and passionate.
"Shh, Terra. " Aiden replied. She glared at Chase once again, leaving the boy speechless. Terra blushed, and looked at the boys quickly. Jared caught a glimpse of her eyes, emrald, and he couldn't help but audibly gasp. It was as if they had went from brown to emrald within seconds.
The bell rang, and they all got up to leave. The girls stayed behind, trying to look at their schedules. Jared began to walk up to them when Chase pulled him by the collar into the hallway.
"We gotta meet up with Michael, dude. Girls ain't worth it."

Michael was already waiting outside in the hall. When he spotted the guys, he waved them over. "Dude, who the hell were they?"
Meanwhile, Clare walked to her locker and picked up more of her books. Her large math book fell out of her locker and nearly fell on her foot. She grumbled to herself as she continued to class.

Chase huffed and smirked. "You knows, but that one with the red hair is a SPITFIRE. I would love to get all up in that, if you know what I mean!" Jared rolled his eyes at Chase, and watched as the two girls walked down the hall. Sure, okay, Aiden was hot, but Terra?
"Her hips swing when she walks...." Jared said aloud, not even realising he did it. Chase gave him a disgusted face. "Dude, she's fat!"
Jared's face turned bright red. He glared at Chase. "So?"

Mike just rolled his eyes. The three of them continued to gym class. Mike opened a locker and shoved his books inside. He went to the side of the locker room and switched his pants to reddish sweats with the school logo and "football" written in large letters on the right pant leg.

Jared opened his own locker and pulled out his practice jersey. He ripped of his shirt, and put the jersey on. "You know, I'm really psyched for the game tonight. We're a shoo in to win against the "Raging Rattlers"." Jared said.
Chase slapped Jared in the stomach. "Gettin' a lil flabby there, arn't ya J." Jared slapped his hand away.
"Listen, what's with you and fat people today. Leave off."

"Dude, relax." Mike said, "You're getting a little carried away. And we're gonna kill tonight." Clare scribbled in her notebook. Math was not her favorite subject, she was bored and did not understand it at all. She stole glances every few seconds at the clock above her teacher's head, and willed the time to pass quicker. The clock did not oblige.

The boys made their way to the gym. There, the class was hanging around waiting for the gym teacher to arrive. He was always late. Jared stretched out a bit, and Chase sat down on the bleachers inside. About three girls looked at him and smiled, waving slightly. Chase blew a kiss back. "Idiot." mumbled Jared under his breath. Sure, Chase was right. Jared was a little big. He was a defensive lineman. He was huge, but he had to be. With his broad shoulders, thick thighs and round waist, he could stop any offensive man in his tracks. But that didn't help him get any ladies.
"So, Michael, what are you doing after school before the game? I was thinking about going out to eat, get some carbs ya know? You want in?" Jared asked.
"Aiden, why did you do that?" Terra was quickly changing into her gym outfit. Green t-shirt, with dark brown shorts, and green hightops.
"What? He was being an asshole to you." Aiden replied, pulling on her orange shirt and red shorts.
"Aiden, we're new here. We can't just walk around like we own the place. Because we don't. We're the fresh meat. They can devour us. I just want to maintain a low profile. Until we figure all this out, okay?" Terra hissed. Aiden shrugged, and they made their way to the gym.
"Promise me one thing, Aiden. You won't do anything out here, okay?"

Michael sat on the floor of the gym, stretching out his sore legs from the week-long workouts. "Oh, yeah, dude, I'm in. I feel like going for a run before that, you in for that?" He asked, and sat against the bleachers near Chase. Mike looked around for the teacher, but instead saw two of the new kids from Biology class. He fought to recall their names but couldn't. The girl was in a powder blue pair of sweatpants and a white shirt. The top had a design on it that Mike couldn't quite make out. The guy, towering above his friend, had white basketball shorts and a light gray t-shirt.
"I don't like this." Livia said to Nathan quietly.
"It's gym class, Liv. It's not supposed to be pleasant."
"Not gym class! This school, being new here."
"Look, being new anywhere sucks. We just have to lay low until we get our barrings," he reassured his best friend, "it's just high school." They waited for Terra and Aiden against the blue padded wall of the gym.
The gym teacher finally showed himself, about ten minutes late, as usual. The bald patch on the back of his head was unusually shiny, something the underclassmen probably had a field day making of behind his back. His khaki shorts hung right below his knee and his blue collared shirt covered the waistline of the shorts. He immediately called his class together, shouting "Let's go, guys! Bring it in!". Coach Smith used to be the school's basketball coach, and he never quite lost that mentality. After taking the roll of his class, "Alright, free gym. Stay in this room, though! Hey, Mike, Chase and Jared, c'mere." he said and called the boys over.
"You boys ready for tonight? You think you've got it?" Smith asked. Mike nodded.

"We're gonna pound em into the ground!" Jared huffed, putting on his game face, and bending over on to the floor in his stance. He growled like a beast and chuckled. He heard a tinkling of laughter behind him. He stood up just in time to see Aiden and Terra pass by, walking towards a girl and a boy. Their outfits were just as weird. They had to be foreign. Maybe Europe?
"Dude, was she laughing at you?" Chase said, his eye brow shooting into his hairline. He wasn't always a good friend, and could make fun of him whenever he wanted, but if someone else made fun of Jared, Chase was there for him, and ready to strike.
"No, but laughing. She's got a cute laugh..." Jared smiled. She was unlike any girl in the school. Any girl he'd ever seen.
"Concentrate on the game tonight."
"Yeah, sure. Oh, and Mike, I'll be joining you for that run."

"Great." Mike said as he picked up a basketball from the large metal bin about five feet away and began to bounce it.
"Heard their defense is tough." He said about the opposing team, not even looking up as he posed the statement. He was clearly confident about their team.
Across the gym, the other group gathered together. "Glad we've all got classes together." Livia said, "would've been a terrible time all alone."

Terra nodded, smiling shlyly. "I would die, to be honest. I hate this whole blending in thing. But, we have to think up something quick, you know? A plan?" she said, just as a basketball rolled in her direction.
"Hey, toss that over, will ya!?" Came a voice, and Terra looked around. Chase, Jared, and Mike were all standing there, looking at them, waiting for them to return the ball.
"Go head, T. Go give em the ball back." Aiden said, picking up the ball, and tossing it to Terra. She fumbled with it a bit, and began to panic. "Uhm." she mumbled, and quickly made her way to the boys.
"Sorry. Here's you're ball." she said.
"Thanks." replied Jared, who cleared his throat. "You going to the game tonight? Football, it's huge here you know. Everyone who's everyone goes." he said, and tried a weak smile.

Mike caught the ball and nodded his own thanks. "Biggest game of the season." "You guys all play?" Livia asked quietly. Behind her, Nathan quietly made a face at the ground. He wasn't too fond of the guys standing in front of them already. "Yep, all of us are on the team." Mike replied, "It's home, tonight, just down the road. It'll be fun."

Terra looked to Aiden, Livia and Nathan. "Oh, guys! I'm sure it will be fun! We could use an icebreaker!" She gave Nathan a playful look, and smiled back at the boys.
"Well, I'm sure we'll see you tonight!" Terra said, blushing slightly. She turned from Jared and the boys, and linked arms with Aiden, who looked at her with a bit of shock. They walked away towards where the ping pong table was set up.
"Hey, dude, you know my friend here is into your sister." Chase said, clapping Nathan on the back. His hand instantly felt colder. "You better watch him."

Nathan scowled at Chase, "Yeah, thanks for the warning." he said, pulling his shoulder away and following the girls.
"Nathan, relax." Livia said once he returned to the girls, "We can't make enemies our first day here. Especially not with them!" "I'm fine, Liv. I just get--never mind." he said, interrupting himself and turning to Terra and Aiden, "I get winner." a slight grin came back onto his face. Mike took a shot at the basketball hoop and made it as Chase came back to their side of the gym.

Terra blushed, and looked back at the boys. "It wasn't a bad thing to say yes, was it?" she said, swatting the ball at Aiden. She frowned, and waited for Aiden to swat it back. She was nervous. "I mean, what if they see us? Or find us? It's a bit early, but still."
Jared glared at Chase as he walked over, and he threw the ball at Chase hard. He caught it. Throwing it back, he smirked. "What, boy? And you got what you wanted. She's going to the game. She's gonna cheer you on!"

"We'll be fine, Terra. Just watch yourself." Nathan said. He had a gut feeling that this would not work out like his sister wanted it to. Maybe it was him just being overprotective, but he had to protect them as well as their secrets...
Mike smiled, "You'll have your very own fanclub!" he joked as he waited for Chase to throw the ball to him again.
